Shami Tripathy (she/her) is a vocalist and mental health advocate whose work seeks to dissolve the boundaries that limit access to music as a form of healing. She is the founder of Where Worlds Collide, an international initiative that engages creative expression as shared human language, cultivating resilience and connection across global communities. Guided by the belief that sound-based practices must transcend cultural/systemic barriers, she envisions music as a universal current, capable of resonating with all people regardless of circumstance or identity. She plans to pursue ethnomusicology and contemplative studies to deepen her exploration of the arts as instruments for cohesion, equity, and collective restoration.
